Gravel

Pete’s third album 'Gravel' has proved to be very popular. Again with invaluable help from Carl Iredale and Andy Smith (Drums/Percussion), this 6 months project was finished in late summer of 2003. The 12 tracks on the album are all original with various sources of inspiration including the Isle of Arran in 'Glen Rosa' and autumn daybreak in the Lake District with 'The Dawn'. Pete has also experimented with some different song-writing styles illuminated in a rather tongue in cheek play on words in 'Got a Letter' and some energetic strumming in 'Toothpick'. Add into this the jazz swing feel of 'Safe In The Arms Of Destruction' plus the evocative solitude of 'Avalanche' and you get a superb varied album.
