Dear
Pete,
I thoroughly enjoyed hearing you
play in Lancaster recently. I had a Superb
night and will come and see you again when next in. Thanks for posting me your
superb CD - where was the cover photo taken? Good luck for the future.
Dear Pete,
A friend and I were lucky enough to
have caught your gig at the Stickle Barn at Langdale a week ago. We had
decided to drop in for a meal and to relax but couldn't beleive our luck when we
heard your music. It was a terrific night with a wonderful atmosphere,
(all the better for us by being unplanned!). My friend Ruth bought a copy
of your CD (at £4.99 you are seriously underpricing yourself!) and we played it
constantly on our way home to Gloucestershire and pretty much all the time ever
since! We had spent a great week walking the Fells and have lots of
memories but the night at Stickle Barn is one of the best - thanks a lot!
Hope to catch you again sometime. Best wishes
Hi pete,
you don't
know me but i'm a fan of yours. I was in Lancaster a few weeks ago, sat in a pub
with a friend when I heard your dulcid tones singing 'Norwegian wood'. Being the
Beatles nut that I am, I couldnt recall an acoustic version of said song, so I
proceeded to harass the bar staff for info on who was singing. So when I found
out it was a local guy I was well impressed. Has anyone told you that you sound
so much like Neil Finn, (thats a huge compliment) - I wish I did. I believe my
friend came to see you 2 sundays ago and you had a chat, so being a fellow
guitarist/average pianist who is currently doing more or less what you are -
just thought i'd drop you a ;line and say that i managed to hear your 4 track CD
and thought you were spot on. Anyway next time i'm up your way, be nice to get
together and have a jam. Good luck with the songs, wouldnt mind hearing your own
stuff sometime.
