Hello All!,
Just to let you know Pete arrived back in the UK on May 1st after 4 months away. He decided it was long enough away from his beloved UK. The final diary entry along with all the others entries will soon be appearing on this website. Until then you can view all diary entries including the latest one
describing the USA on www.myspace.com/petelashleymusic
as from Sat May 12th.
Hello everyone. Trust you all had a splendid Christmas and New Year. Thanks to those who came to listen at a gig or bought a CD in 2005. It has been a pleasure. 2006 looks like it's gonna be another eventful year. Been toying with the idea of possibly taking my music over to Australia/New Zealand again at the end of 2006. Could easily change my plans of course between now and then but feels like the right thing to do at the moment. It would coincide with the Ashes so even better!
Thought it might be a good idea to keep a bit of a journal to let you know what is going on in the world of Pete Lashley. The new album ‘Air Of The Gods’ is to be finished today. Sam at Stonegate Studios www.stonegate-studios.co.uk is mastering the final mixes as I write. He has done a superb job recording and engineering the album. Andy Smith has also done a phenomenal job on drums. We’ve also introduced the sound of flute onto the album in the last song ‘The Village Rose’. Polly-Anna Ashford plays the flute on this track and captures the mood of the song spot-on.
