Hello everyone. Trust you all had a splendid Christmas and New Year. Thanks to those who came to listen at a gig or bought a CD in 2005. It has been a pleasure. 2006 looks like it's gonna be another eventful year. Been toying with the idea of possibly taking my music over to Australia/New Zealand again at the end of 2006. Could easily change my plans of course between now and then but feels like the right thing to do at the moment. It would coincide with the Ashes so even better!
I will definitely be doing another album this year. I like the idea of recording it quickly and over the course of just a few days. Keep it nice and simple.
There are also plans underway to do a reunion gig with Martin and Ruth from Five Corners later in the year. Also in the pipeline is a Ukelele trio tour of the South West with Bristol based Trippy and Joe Brown. It's gonna be awesome,.... once we've learned to play.
Now I'm off downstairs to finish watching a Laurel and Hardy dvd I got for Christmas, 'A Chump At Oxford'.
Thanks again for your support.
Look after yourselves and hope to see you at a gig in 2006.
Pete
